There was only $1.2 million worth of bonus bids for the month, bringing the year’s total to a little more than $802 million.
Thirteen parcels of land that covered more than 5,000 hectares were sold.
One of the most important parcels for lease was located northwest of Fort St. John in the Birch Oil Field. The per-hectare bid on the land was $925, selling for more than $130,000.
Last month’s sales resulted in approximately $20 million in bonus bids.
