The Fort St. John Rotary Club has given away even more money.

The second early bird draw for $15,000 in the Mega Lottery was made Thursday afternoon. Ryan VanEsch was the lucky winner. VanEsch said "this is the best news I’ve ever had in my life."

To date over $362,000 in tickets have been sold. In 2009 the club sold $435,000 in tickets which went to local non-profit groups in Northeast B.C.

This year 24 clubs are selling tickets at various locations including the Totem Mall and Co-op Mall. Tickets are still available at $40 for one or $100 for three.

The grand prize draw will take place on Dec. 26 at the Totem Mall.
