Brazen robbery at Fort St. John convenience store

Fort St. John RCMP are searching for one suspect after what is being called a “brazen robbery” at Tags Convenience Store on 100 Ave..

The incident occurred Wednesday evening at around 7 p.m.

Police say one male entered the store, jumped over the counter and held a single female clerk at knifepoint. One person witnessed the robbery after walking in while it was in progress. The witness contacted police after the suspect left the scene.

The suspect is described as male. He is between 5’7” and 5’9” in height with a slender build. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket, light blue jeans and black and white running shoes at the time of the incident. He also wore an orange mask that completely covered his face.
