UPDATE - Family members have confirmed Stephanie was found safe Saturday afternoon.

Dawson Creek RCMP are searching for suspects in a break and enter in the Canalta area of the city.

RCMP officials say an unknown number of people broke into a newly built house late Friday evening.

The group drank alcoholic beverages and then caused extensive damage to the home, which has been estimated at between $30,000 and $50,000.

Police say the homeowners are no longer able to move into their house until repairs to the home are completed.
