Prince George RCMP say they received a report of a suspicious person that was wearing a balaclava. Shortly after receiving the call, they received another saying an armed robbery had taken place at the gas station.

They say officers surrounded the area and arrested a 31 year-old male who had been attempting to leave the area in a vehicle.

Police say they found a young child around two years-old in the back seat of the vehicle and a dog. The vehicle’s owner turned out to be a female clerk who was working at the gas station when the robbery occurred.

The female was later arrested.
