Grande Prairie RCMP would like to speak with the man as he may be a person of interest in a “request to locate” investigation in B.C. The male is described at 6’ tall, well dressed, clean cut, early to mid 20’s, average build with black hair and speaks with a British or Australian accent.

Grande Prairie RCMP are warning the public if it sounds too good to be true, it may be.

On Sunday Dec. 5, the Grande Prairie RCMP received a complaint of a white van selling stereo equipment. Police arrived at the shopping complex at 84 avenue and 108 street and located the van and the two men.

An investigation has determined the equipment was not stolen; but quality, no warranty and no returns should leave consumers wary.

There are no charges as a result of the investigation, and the two men stated they would be leaving the city.
