The North Peace Senior Boys are looking to share their basketball skills.


The senior boy’s basketball team will be holding a developmental camp available for both boys and girls. The participants will be divided into two groups, grades 4-6 and grades 7-9.

Community Interviews with Moose FM

The grades 4-6 group will be taking place Friday Jan.7/2011 from the time of 4 pm to 6 pm and Saturday Jan.8/2011 from 9 am to 1 pm. The grades 7-9 group will take place Friday Jan.7/2011 6 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday Jan.8/2011 from 2-6 pm.

The camp will include lessons with regards to a variety of skills in areas such as proper shooting techniques, ball handling, left and right hand lay-ups, on and off the ball defense and many other skills necessary for success in the game of basketball.

The camp will involve individual skill lessons, taught in a small, personal groups for maximum development. Group exercises will also be included such as one on one, two on two and mini tournament style competitions.

Cost of the camp is $30 per camper and all proceeds will go to support the North Peace senior boy’s basketball team. Please make checks payable to North Peace Secondary School.

Checks can be dropped off at the North Peace Secondary School, or brought directly to camp. Campers must bring registration forms with them to camp and those can be acquired upon email request from [email protected]
