One charged after collsion near Grande Prairie

 

One person has been charged after a two vehicle collision near Grande Prairie.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Grande Prairie RCMP say the driver of a Chevrolet Equinox failed to yield before getting onto Hwy. 2, hitting a southbound Dodge Neon.

The 34 year-old driver of the Dodge Neon was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. The 34 year-old driver of the Chevrolet Equinox is facing charges of failing to yield.
