One person has plead guilty after a three month undercover operation near Chetwynd.

Dec. 1, the Chetwynd RCMP and the RCMP North District General Investigation Section released information about an investigation near Moberly Lake after receiving public complaints about an area residence.

Guy Andrew Leger, was convicted on Dec. 2 in Dawson Creek Provincial Court and received a two year jail sentace as well as a firearm prohibition. The second person arrested in the case, a 40 year-old woman is awaiting her first court appearance. She will face two counts of trafficking a controled substance.

In the initial release from the RCMP, they say during a three-month long undercover operation officers purchased cocaine several times. A search warrant was then executed at the residence with two people being arrested.
