Grande Prairie RCMP are searching for three suspects involved in a violent home invasion.

The incident happened on Friday around 1:30 a.m. at a home on Pinnacle St.

Police say three suspects broke into the home wearing balaclavas and waving weapons. Three people were in the home at the time of the incident.

Two 19 year-old males were injured and transported to hospital. They say one of the men was later released and the other was taken to a hospital in Edmonton for further treatment of a nonlife threatening injury.

A 17 year-old female in the home was not hurt.
