This is day one of the 7th annual Troyer Ventures/Moose-FM Christmas toy drive, for needy children in the community.

The Salvation Army is reporting, there’s an increased need for toys this year, and while all toys donated will be gratefully received, the greatest need is for children between new borns and two years of age and ten years of age and older.

Once again Moose-FM will broadcast live, for the next two days, from the Home Hardware Building Centre on 108 street beginning at noon today.

Over ten community groups or businesses, have already agreed to collect toys or act as a drop off point and any others interested are encouraged to call either Kelly or Adam, at 250-787-7100.

You can call the same number, for any further information about the toy drive and we note again all the toys donated locally, do go to children in this area.
