After offensive outpouring the Flyers get ready for Spirit River

So that was quite the game last night. The Senior Flyers played thier first game since before Christmas and it was a wild one against the Horse Lake Cheifs. I was going to call it an offensive explosion but that might not do it justice. The two teams combined for 19 goals. And some of them were absolute beauties including the Flyers first two goals from defensemen Brett Loney and Donny Lloyd. It was nice to see Lloyd back on the ice for the Flyers after missing most of the first half of the season. Bryce Novak scored a beauty as well. It wasn’t much of a game though outside of the goals and the Flyers will be looking for a more competitive game tomorrow night against the Spirit River Rangers.

I wil be bringing you that game live on Moose FM starting at 8:15 with the pre-game show. This will be my second trip to Spirit River with the Flyers as I brought you the game back on November 12th between the two teams. The Flyers took that one 4-3 in what was one of the better games of hockey I have seen this season so far. It should be another great game tomorrow as the two rivals face off once again. Tune in tomorrow at 8:15 for all the news abotu lineups and of course at 8:30 when the puck drops on 100.1 Moose FM and enereticcity.ca
