Northern Health officials have announced that the first baby born across the region in 2011 was born in Fort St. John.

Tanalee Kronhardt was born at the Fort St. John Hospital at 1:15 a.m., weighing eight pounds, one ounce.

The little girl’s parents, Ludmila and Paul Kronhardt are from Wonowon, B.C. and have two other children.
