Four arrested in Grande Prairie drug bust

Two people are facing several charges after Grande Prairie RCMP discovered different drugs at an east end residence in the city.

Police say the RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant at a home on Tuesday evening, arresting four adults arrested. They say they also found two children, both of whom were under the age of two. The children were taken by another agency after the search.

Police say that during the search they found three ounces of cocaine, three and a half ounces of marijuana, three grams of marijuana resin and several pills. They say they believe the pills are narcotics as well.

John Wolitski is facing one charge of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and four counts of breach of recognizance. The 21 year-old has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Monday.

Cody Warren is also facing one charge of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possessing marijuana for purpose of trafficking. The 20 year-old was granted a $1,000 bail. He is also expected to appear in court on Monday.
