The team started off its tournament on Jan. 28 against team Slovakia. The women beat the Slovaks by a score of 3-0.

Canada’s second game was a bit more dramatic. On Jan. 30, the fourth day of competition, the Canadian Women played Great Britain and the game was no cup of tea for the Brits.

Unruh and her fellow Canadian teammates outscored their British competition 14-0.
