The Huskies are looking to start the new year off in better fashion than they ended in 2010.

After losing their last game of the year to Sexsmith, the Huskies will take to the ice each day this weekend, looking to add a few more wins to their record.

On Friday night, the Huskies will kick off the second portion of their season against Dawson Creek. That game will commence at 8 p.m. and will take place at the North Peace Arena.

On Saturday, the Huskies will welcome the Sexsmith Vipers to town in a rematch of the Husky’s last game of 2010, which saw the Vipers beat the Huskies by a score of 7-5. That game will also start at 8 p.m. at the North Peace Arena.

Sunday’s Game will see Beaverlodge come to Fort St. John which will also be played at the North Peace Arena starting at 2 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to attend these games and show support for the team, as it should be an entertaining weekend of hockey for the Huskies.
