Huskies hope to avoid season sweep

The Fort St. John Huskies will mush through the snow into Whitecourt on Saturday.

Fresh off a Wednesday win against Dawson Creek that saw them jump from fifth to fourth place in the standings, the Huskies will play the first place Wolverines on Saturday.

This will be the fourth and final meeting between the two clubs, with Whitecourt winning all three of those games in dramatic fashion. During the three meetings, the Huskies were outscored 19-2, with two games resulting in 7-0 losses.

Catch all the live action on 100.1 Moose FM and make sure to tune into the informative pre-game show, which starts 15 minutes before puck drop.

Saturday’s game will begin at 8 p.m.
