One man is facing three charges after Grande Prairie RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in the city’s east side, Tuesday.

Police say they searched the home at 6 p.m. and seized five rifles, ammunition and numerous machete knives.

Robert Mckinney was arrested and is facing charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, failing to comply with a recognizance and possession of stolen property.

The 48 year-old was released on bail Wednesday morning and is expected in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on Jan. 10.
