The first period saw both teams score on each other twice, ending the first with the game tied at twos.

However, goal scoring must have been the Flyers locker room discussion, as they erupted in the second, scoring six unanswered.

A scoreless third period saw the Flyers cruise to the victory.

Flyers player Cayle Bell had a game to remember. Bell was responsible for half of the offense, scoring four goals himself. Tyrel Lepine scored twice for the Flyers and Blair Karasiuk, Tyrell Fenton and Dallas Trim each recorded two assists.

Ty Helgason recorded the win in between the pipes.

The Midget Flyers have themselves a busy upcoming weekend, as they play both days. Saturday they will take on the High Prairie at 4 p.m. and Sunday they play Peace River at 1:15 p.m.

Both games will be held at the Pomeroy Sports Centre.
