Dawson Creek RCMP say a woman was trying to get into her car outside the Credit Union in the city. They then say another car tried to back out of a parking space beside the woman, hitting her in the process.

The car is described as an older four-door sedan that may be similar to a Grand-Am. Police say the driver was a male in his 20s or 30s. He had a dark goatee and was wearing a baseball cap at the time of the incident.

The woman suffered minor injuries after being knocked to the ground during the incident.

Anyone who either saw or has information about the incident is asked to call the Dawson Creek RCMP detachment at 250-784-3700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
