An Environment Canada wind chill warning has been issued this morning for the entire Peace Region.

All you need do to find out why is step outside.

The official temperature this morning was minus 30 degrees, but with the wind only at 9 kilometeres per hour, we still have a wind chill temperature of minus 39.

The strong Pacific frontal system passing through the interior of the province, is expected to dump up to 6 centimeters of snow tonight and tomorrow in this area, with more forecast for the weekend.

It is likely to be Monday, before we see any significant temperature improvement with a forecast high of minus 11.
