Now you can submit a tip to Crime Stoppers using your iPhone.

A free iPhone application has been published in the Apple App store, which will assist in allowing those who use this technology to submit tips easier and faster than the previous SMS Text Messaging.

Users of the free iPhone app may now submit secure and anonymous tips to Crime
Stoppers programs. Thousands of communities, schools and local, law enforcement agencies can be accessed through this application, including Northeast B.C. Crime Stoppers.

To download the application, search in the iPhone app store for TipSubmit or Tip Soft. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you can then select the Crime Stoppers program near you.

An App for others using different phone platforms is hoped to be out shortly.

As always you can still submit tips online at www.thecrimestoppersnetwork.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
