Calgary based Enbridge Incoporated is set to launch a campaign Tuesday to try and change public opinion, in the targeted impact region in Northern BC, about it’s controverisal Northern Gateway project.

Beginning in Terrace today, it will hold a series of public information sessions this month, to address concerns about the twin pipeline, it plans to build from North Central Alberta to the Northwest BC Coast.

Environmentalists and First Nations communities have lined up in opposition, to the $5.5 billion project, arguing among other things, a spill could devastate marine ecosystems.

Enbridge representatives will also travel to Kitimat, Burns Lake, Prince George, Fort St. James and Houston to explain and answer questions about the regulatory review process.
