Geomatics students receive thousands in scholarships

Two students at Northern lights College have received scholarships for having two of the highest academic standings after their first term in the Geomatics Engineering Technology Certificate program.

The scholarships are sponsored by the Association of B.C. Land Surveyors and the Northern Regional Group of B.C. Land Surveyors.

Jay Van Noortwyk received the highest academic standing and Cassie Mulvahill received the second highest standing.

They received a $2,000 and $1,000 award, respectively, presented on Feb. 18.
