Update#2 – Highway 2 closed by Tomslake

Update #2 – As of 8a.m., the highway is now open to single lane alternating traffic.

Update – We now understand a vehicle is on fire in between Tomslake and the border.

Highway 2 has been closed between Tomslake and the Alberta border.

The Ministry of Transportation has closed the highway because of a motor vehicle incident in the area.

At this time we have very few details about the incident and hope to learn more shortly from the RCMP.
