The City of Fort St. John will be holding the 4th annual Community Awards.

The awards recognize and honour local citizens, volunteers, athletes or businesses who have made noteworthy contributions to the city.

The City is accepting nominations for the awards. Some of the categories include “Making a Difference”, “Culture Person of the Year”, “Athlete of the Year” and “Volunteer of the Year.”

Anyone can fill out a nomination form, which is available on the City’s website or can be picked up at City Hall, the North Peace Leisure Pool, the Pomeroy Sport Centre or the Visitor Centre.

The nomination deadline is March 24 and the awards will take place on April 7 at the Pomeroy Hotel.
