Some roads in the Peace Region are under a travel advisory.

As of 7 p.m. on Saturday, Highway 29 from Tumbler Ridge to Hudson’s Hope and Highway 97 between Dawson Creek and Chetwynd are under travel advisories.

Both stretches of highway have limited visibility with blowing snow and Ministry of Transportation officials are advising motorists to use extreme caution when traveling.
