BC Hydro has served notice of two planned power outages in the Fort St. John area next week.

The first, scheduled for about two and half hours on Sunday {Feb. 06/11}, will impact Charlie Lake area customers North of the Alaska Highway on Sunny Side Drive and the surrounding area.

It is scheduled to begin at 9.30am.

The second outage is slated for Wednesday {Feb. 09/11}, between midnight and 6am, in Taylor.

It will impact customers south of 141st street, up to the Peace River, including the District of Taylor.

Hydro is warning customers in the aforemention impact areas, to take precautions to protect sensitive equipment.
