Prince George RCMP are investigating after an early morning shooting.

Police say they received a call about shots being fired in an area of the city at around 3:16 a.m. local time. They say officers were sent to the area but could not see anything suspicious. Then, later on Tuesday morning, police received a call from someone saying there were bullet holes on the outside of a residence in the same area.

Community Interviews with Moose FM


The Forensic Identification Section and the Police Dog Service were brought in to investigate.

Police say they believe the shooting was targeted and probably drug related.
