The Fort St. John Rotary Club has handed out over $195,000 to groups in Northeastern B.C.

The cheque presentations were made Wednesday afternoon as the club wrapped up their annual fundraiser the Rotary Mega Lottery.   Non-profit groups from Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson and Fort St. John helped to sell over $453,740 in tickets and received a portion of those funds.

In Fort St. John 18 groups received funding along with 4 in Dawson Creek and 2 groups in Fort Nelson.

The next Rotary Mega Lottery will happen this fall.
