A professional baseball legend will be coming to Fort St. John on Monday.

Ferguson Jenkins will be visiting the city, showcasing a new stamp created in his honour by Canada Post. The stamp is honouring Black History Month and Jenkins will also be in town to make a presentation about his heritage.

Jenkins will be at the Fort St. John post office from 3 until 3:45 p.m. He will then be making a presentation on his career and heritage at the North Peace Cultural Centre from 4 until 7 p.m. At that time, he will be signing autographs for the public.
