Update – As of 10 pm, the RCMP have cleared the accident. At this time they haven’t released any further details about the accident. We hope to learn more in the morning.

A collision south of Taylor has caused delays on the Alaska Highway.

We have very few details at this time, but several eye witnesses have stated a vehicle has collided head-on with a moose.

RCMP from both Dawson Creek and Fort St. John are on scene.

We believe the highway is closed south of the South Taylor brake check. When we get more information, we will pass it along.
