UPDATE #2 – Power has been restored as of 6pm Tuesday night.


UPDATE – Hydro now says power should be restored by 6pm.

An outage in Fort St. John has cut of power to 898 customers.

B.C. Hydro is reporting that the outage was caused by a motor vehicle accident.

The outage is affecting customers in the area south of the 262 Rd. and north-east-west of the Alaska Highway.  The outage is affecting customers in Montney, Charlie Lake and some areas of Fort St. John.

Power is expected to be restored by 4 p.m.
