Seven permits were issued resulting in construction value of $788,000, as compared to $873,000 from thirteen permits in January of 2010.

This year’s total did exceed both the 2009 and 2008 totals, but none of them came close 2007.

That was the year eleven permits issued in January had a total value of $8,708,000 and that was nearly three times the combined January totals of last four years.

City revenue from the seven permits issued last month was $3,940, also down from last year, when the thirteen permit revenue was $5,212.
