An Arctic front will make its way through the Peace River region later today and tonight. Snow and strong northerly winds of 40 gusting 60 km/h generating reduced visibilities in blowing snow are expected to develop late this afternoon and continue through tonight. The strong winds combined with falling temperatures will result in cold wind chill values near minus 35 tonight. Total snowfall amounts of 10 cm are expected by early Tuesday morning. The snow and blowing snow are forecast to end early Tuesday morning as the front moves out of the region.
