The Fort St. John Tier 2 Bantam Flyers didn’t get the results they were hoping for in the opening game of the Tier 2 Bantam Provincials.

Sunday evening at the North Peace Arena, the Flyers opened their tournament with a 12-1 loss to the Juan De Fuca Grizzlies.

Leading the way for Juan de Fuca was their captain Cole Pickup, who scored 5 goals and added three assists in Sunday’s game.

Next up for the bantam Flyers is a game against Prince George. That game takes place Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. at the North Peace Arena.
