The EnCana Events Centre in Dawson Creek has been nominated for the second consecutive year for the prestigious Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards “The Air Canada Centre Major Facility of the Year”.

“It is an exceptional honour to be nominated two consecutive years in a row, and we are fortunate to have our efforts for bringing entertainment to the Peace Region recognized on a National platform,” stated Deb Trim, Director of Marketing for the EnCana Events Centre.

2010 was an electrifying year for the EnCana Events Centre, for Global Spectrum Facility Management, and for our community as we hosted a wide range of entertainment and community events from Cirque Sublime to the Olympic Torch Relay, 19 draws of professional curling to The Offspring, Bryan Adams, Stompin’ Tom Connors, The Led Zeppelin Experience, Professional Bull Riding and Reba McEntire. “It is rewarding to be included amoungst a group of strong competitors within the industry,” stated Ryan MacIvor, General Manager for Global Spectrum Facility Management at the EnCana Events Centre.
