Fort St. John is home to Pee Wee hockey champions.

Wednesday evening, Fort St. John played the final game of the tournament against the Burnaby Winter Club, beating Burnaby 4-3 in an exciting finale.

Despite being up 3-0 going into the second period, Burnaby managed to tie the game up at threes in the second, making for an exciting third period.

With the game tied, an intense third period saw Fort St. John’s Ryan Mulligan score the game winning goal five minutes into the frame, securing Fort St. John the provincial championship.

Fort St. John finished the tournament, without recording a regulation loss.
