This weekend, Fort St. John will be hosting its annual Minor Hockey Atom Tournament.

The tournament will be taking place at the Pomeroy Sport Centre and will begin on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The tournament will run until Sunday, when the finals will be played. The tournament is for nine and ten year-old players.

The tournament involves three home teams including Integra Tire, Northern Metalic and Alpine Glass. The weekend event will also include seven visiting teams from across the Peace Region, with a total of nearly 150 players.

Spectators can watch the tournament for free and there will be several prizes available to win.
