The City feels that the work involved in removing the ice can be hazardous to the health of individuals on the track. The equipment used, powered by diesel fuel, affects the air quality because of the increased amount of exhaust fumes within the facility.

The tentative re-opening date is March 31 at 6 a.m. and for more information please contact the Pomeroy Sport Centre at 250-787-4592.
