There are only seven days left until the Fort St. John Senior Men’s Flyers attempt to win their fifth consecutive Savage Cup.

The tournament will begin Tuesday, March 15 and the games will be played at the North Peace Arena. The round robin will take place from the 15 to the 17 and the semis will be played on the 18. The tournament will end on the 19 with the finals.

Once the round robin has concluded, the first place team will automatically progress to the finals, while the remaining two teams will play on the 18 for a spot in the championship game.

Tickets can be purchased in five game packages for $40 from Ernie’s Sports Experts in the Totem Mall. Individual game tickets will go on sale Tuesday March 15.

The Savage Cup is awarded to B.C.’s senior ice hockey champions each year and was first presented in 1913.

Wednesday March 16- 8 p.m.- Penticton Vees vs. Prince George Mohawks (home team)

Friday March 18- 8 p.m. – Semi-finals
Saturday March 19- 8.p.m.- Finals
