Fort St. John RCMP are searching for an unknown number of suspects after an orange Hummer was broken into early Wednesday morning.

A Nikon D80 digital camera was stolen out of the unlocked vehicle sometime between the hours of 1 and 7 a.m.

The camera is valued at approximately $1,500.

The vehicle was parked at a residence at 107 St. and 102 Ave. in Fort St. John.

Police are urging people to keep their vehicle doors locked whenever they are unoccupied.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
