The Kamloops Vibe women’s hockey team, are provincial champions.

Sunday, the Vibe beat the Fort St. John Eagles 6-0 in the North Peace Provincial Women’s Hockey Championship.

Despite the game being tied at zeros entering the second period, the Eagles were unable to match the play of Kamloops, allowing them to score three times in both the second and third frames.

MVP honours were awarded after the game to players on both teams, with Alyssa Reid earning the title for the Vibe and Shayleen Clausen being named MVP for the Eagles.
