Weeklong voting begins today in Fort Nelson in the Prince George/Peace River federal Tory nomination race.

Local area Conservatives will get their opportunity to cast ballots Tuesday night at the Pomeroy Hotel, and there are four Peace region candidates in the seven person field.

They include North Peace Secondary teacher, Bob Zimmer, Taylor businessman Les Shurtliff and City Councilors, Dan Davies and Don Irwin.

The other candidates are Tumbler Ridge councilor Jerrilyn Schembri, and a two from Prince George, including former Mayor, Colin Kinsley and city councilor, Cameron Stoltz.

Prince George area Tories will be the last to vote on Friday.
