Gas prices in Fort St. John have started to increase again.

Three stations in Fort St. John have increased their prices to 138.9 per litre, a jump of 7 cents.

The two Petro Canada outlets and the Shell location on 100 street as of Wednesday night had made the jump.  The rest of the gas stations in Fort St. John were still at 131.9.

Although we don’t have the highest prices in the province, we aren’t far behind Fort Nelson according to GasBuddy.com at 142.9 and Tahsis on Vancouver Island at 143.3.

The national average price is 129.54. The current price for crude oil is $108.82 US per barrel.

As of Wednesday morning, according to GasBuddy.com, one gas station in Dawson Creek had a price of 133.9 and other at 129.9 with the rest at 123.9.
