Fort St. John RCMP say the truck was carrying a bulldozer. The bulldozer then fell off the truck just after 1:30 p.m.

Police say two vans subsequently went off the road to avoid hitting the bulldozer.

They say the vehicle occupants suffered only minor injuries and police are currently on scene, along with flaggers, directing traffic.

The highway is open to single-lane alternating traffic, but there is no word as to when the road will be fully open.
