Winners from last Tuesday’s Northern Regional Science Fair are set to compete at a national level.

Of the 276 students that participated in the Regional Science Fair at North Peace Secondary School, five finalists were selected to represent Northern B.C. at the Canada Wide Science Fair. The national science fair will be held in Toronto in May.

The five students selected are Kevala Van Volkenburg, a grade eight student from Bert Bowes, Dylan Kassian, a grade nine student from Bert Bowes, Jayne Kassian, a grade seven student from Bert Bowes, Jacquie Gulevich, a grade 11 student from NPSS and Nicholas Kurjata, a grade eight student from Bert Bowes.

These students will showcase their projects, competing for thousands of dollars in scholarships and cash prizes.
