City skate club searching for new coaches

 

The Fort St. John Skating Club is looking for multiple positions to be filled for the 2011-2012 season.

The Club is looking for coaches for the upcoming season, which runs from mid September until the end of March, with spring and summer positions also available.

The job offers approximately 11 hours of ice per week to instruct programs such as Pre-can, Canskate, Can-Academy, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Skaters.

Anyone interested in applying must have the following credentials: NCCP Level 1 or higher and must be a registered, certified Skate Canada coach.

Interested applicants must also be organized, motivated, must possess great communication skills, in order to work with students, parents, volunteers and other coaches. Anyone applying must also display dedication to the sport of skating.
