Stephen Ferris must have really enjoyed the feeling of breaking a Blizzard Bike Club record.

Four days after setting a club best time of 29 minutes and 14 seconds in the club’s Cactus Mountain Bike Race, Ferris broke another record Wednesday evening, with a time of 27:57 at the club’s Cactus Trials. Ferris’ record time also earned him first place honours in the race.

Richard Howes finished second in the race, with a time of 32:32 and Pat Ferris would place third, at 33:23.

The next event for the bike club will be its Baldonnel time Trial, which will be taking place Thursday evening, beginning at 7 p.m.
