Ferris sets new bike club record

Despite windy conditions, the Blizzard Bike Club hit the road Sunday, for a record breaking mountain bike race.

On Sunday evening, the Blizzard Bike Club took part in the 7.5 expanded loop, Cactus Mountain Bike Race, with Stephen Ferris taking first in the race with a new record time of 29 minutes and 14 seconds.

Pat Ferris would finish the race in second place with a time of 34:25 and Gary Hilderman third, at 34:49.

The Blizzard Bike Club once again has a busy upcoming week, as they will compete in another mountain bike race Wednesday and a Baldonnel Time Trail Thursday.
